City of Bayonne

The city of Bayonne has called on Empreinte to create the brand new signage for the ‘discovery trail’. This route is designed to highlight the city's cultural, heritage and tourist treasures, giving everyone the chance to explore the city on their own.

This signage has been produced using a variety of supports of different sizes and fixings, with our products adapting to all configurations, whether on the ground, on railings or on walls. We mainly used aluminium for manufacture, with the exception of the lava floor markers, which added a distinctive touch. The graphics were printed using a combination of silkscreen and direct-to-sheet printing, with some elements even printed in relief to meet our customers' specific requirements.

What makes this Bayonne signage truly unique? Its total removability! In fact, the city can remove these installations during major events such as the Bayonne festivals, offering total flexibility.

Our team carried out an in-depth technical study, including the creation of prototypes, to ensure the success of this signage. Today, the fruit of this work adorns the streets of this key town in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region.
