We designed the signage for the historic trail on the Hautes-Chaumes du Forez plateau. Situated at an altitude of over 1,200 metres and covered in moorland, this plateau offers a striking change of scenery. Its simple composition is humbling: a single vast meadow, exposed to the four winds, a ridge, a path and the sky.

To enhance the heritage and landscape of this remarkable place, it was essential to create signage that blended in with the surrounding nature. We therefore opted for our corten steel structure from the Artmonie range to make the supports for these signs. As for the decoration accompanying the signage furniture, our natural choice was enamelled lava for its timeless appearance and resistance to the elements.

The use of corten steel combined with enamelled lava means that we can design signage that blends harmoniously into this environment.
