Compagnie Nationale du Rhône
Find out how Empreinte helped to open the doors of the Génissat and Bollène hydroelectric power stations, as well as the wind and photovoltaic farms along the Rhône river, in partnership with CNR, the French leader in renewable electricity.
When CNR decided to share its expertise and commitment to renewable energies with the general public, it called on Empreinte to design signage to match the challenge. Our mission: to manufacture unique signage, from totem poles to lecterns and reading tables, to guide visitors along the 400 km of the Rhône.
Thanks to our Artmonie range, we have created robust, aesthetic pieces in Corten steel, personalised with the name of the CNR by means of water jet cutting. To ensure the signage lasts, we opted to print on enamelled lava, renowned for its resistance and ease of maintenance.
This partnership with the CNR has enabled us to contribute to the tourist appeal of the Rhône Valley by highlighting the hydraulic structures as well as the environmental and heritage points of interest along the route. Together, we have offered visitors a memorable and rewarding experience, while encouraging more sustainable energy practices.
