Montagne Saint-Michel
Within the Parc d'Armorique lies Montagne Saint-Michel, a 381-metre-high natural gem in the commune of Saint-Rivoal. It offers visitors an unforgettable experience, revealing a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the Monts d'Arrée.
Listed as a heritage site and part of the Natura 2000 perimeter of the Monts d'Arrée, this site is packed with emblematic landscapes ranging from mountain ridges, stretches of moorland and rocky outcrops to a lake and peat bog basin.
In collaboration with Atelier de l'Hermine, we have produced interpretation signage in corten steel specially designed for the Montagne Saint-Michel. This signage has been thought through to the last detail, offering visitors a fun and immersive experience with interactive elements that stimulate curiosity and the desire to learn while having fun. The aim of this signage is to raise public awareness of the rich and fragile natural heritage of the Monts d'Arrée.
The Corten steel chosen to make our furniture starts out as a raw steel. Composed of different alloys such as copper, chromium and nickel, it develops a protective patina over time. The advantage of this steel is that it requires no maintenance. It will not degrade over time, allowing it to retain its aesthetic appeal and robustness through the seasons, while blending harmoniously into the natural environment of the Montagne Saint-Michel.
