Saint-Étienne Town Hall contacted us with a problem: its signage route, painted on the ground, was fading very prematurely.

Our brief was to find a sustainable signage solution that offered brightly coloured visuals. The challenge was met with an enamelled lava solution incorporated into the floor.

By following a few rules, it is perfectly possible to incorporate enamelled lava into the ground. Unlike traditional brass or bronze staking nails, with lava you can create an infinite variety of designs and use any colour you like. Lava also comes in many shapes and sizes.

Enamelled lava is an eco-responsible product. Extracted from the Volvic quarries, enamelled and packaged in our workshops in the Toulouse region, it emits no pollutants and is recyclable.

With enamelled lava, the stroll through evolution has been given a new lease of life thanks to the 29 coloured slabs scattered around Explora Parc.
